Delhi | In the supervision of IPS Vichitra Veer,PS Tilak nagar got a big achievement and caught accused who were wanted and involved in more than 8 criminal cases.Ps Tilak nagar recovered 790 grams of smack/heroine.Police Team of DCP Vichitra Veer recovered 20 lakhs of cash from the accused including the drugs.
Accused Neelam, who was ‘wanted’ in an earlier case, has 8 previous involvement.
The diligent team of Police Station Khyala & Tilak Nagar, West District have done commendable work by arresting one male and one female drug peddler namely Rajesh Rana @ Bunty and Neelam Rana along with the recovery of more than 790 grams Heroin (Drugs) and cash Rs. 20,49,130/-. In the investigation process of search for a Proclaimed Offender namely Neelam Rana who has previously been involved in smuggling and consumption of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Case, team of delhi police PS- Khyala, West District had deployed its technical and manual surveillance to nab her.In continuation of these efforts, on 24.04.2024, SI Anil Tewatia received specific information about the presence of accused lady at Tilak Nagar, Delhi. Accordingly, a raid was conducted at the said address by the team, consisting of SI Anil Tewatia, SI Sunil Mor, HC Babulal, HC Naveen, HC Neeraj, HC Gyan Chand, Ct Giriraj, Ct Kamal, HC Shamsher, W/HC Nitesh and W/Ct Rubina under the supervision of Inspr Vinod, SHO Khyala & Inspr Bineet, SHO Tilak Nagar and under overall guidance of ACP Tilak Nagar.
During the raid, commercial quantity of Heroin/ Smack weighing more than 790 grams has been recovered from the above said house at the instance of said accused lady and her husband namely Rajesh Rana along with a huge recovery of cash Rs. 20,49,130/-.
Accordingly, the recovered Heroin Drugs was seized and taken in police possession. In this regards a case under the provisions of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Tilak Nagar and accused persons have been apprehended. Further investigation is going on regarding the source of Drugs.

1. Rajesh Rana resident of Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who is 44 in age.He has previously been involved in 23 criminal cases
2. Aged 43 Neelam is previously been involved in 08 criminal cases.
