THE 55TH ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF ARYA SAMAJ, VIVEK VIHAR, DELHI CONCLUDES WITH PURNAHUTI

Delhi-  The 55th Annual Celebration organized by Arya Samaj, Vivek Vihar, Delhi, concluded with a grand Purnahuti Yajna. The programme, which commenced on April 11, 2026, continued through April 19, 2026 featuring a series of social, educational, and cultural activities conducted successfully.

The celebrations included key programmes, such as, a Moral Education Camp for children, Prabhat Pheri (morning procession), and a Women’s Conference. The Women’s Conference held on April 17, 2026 was organized with great enthusiasm and dignity, witnessing active participation from women.

During the Moral Education Camp, children and youth were educated about Indian culture, patriotism, and the principles of Arya Samaj. Smt. Usha Kiran, Smt. Krishna Bhatia, and Smt. Krishna Batra played a significant role in imparting practical knowledge of moral values and discipline to the participants.

On April 18, 2026 an impactful seminar on the theme “Modern India, Youth, and Arya Samaj” was organized. The keynote speakers included Dr. Vijay Shastri, Dr. Sohan, Shri Kapil Tyagi, and Shri Vikas Sharma, who shared their valuable insights on the subject. The session was effectively conducted by Acharya Jagveer Shastri.

Addressing the gathering, the President of Arya Samaj, Piyush Sharma, emphasized that youth are the cornerstone of nation-building in modern India. He highlighted that the principles of Arya Samaj—truth, education, equality, and service—serve as guiding values for building a strong, aware, and ethical society.

On the day of Purnahuti of Yagya, Shri Anil Kansal graced the occasion as the Chief Yajman. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from distinguished members of society, women, and local residents.

On this occasion, children presented patriotic cultural performances that captivated the audience. The programmes, conducted by Ms. Lavanya, Ms. Rekha, and Mr. Arun, strengthened the spirit of patriotism and cultural pride among attendees.

The success of the event was made possible through the dedicated presence of Behan Preeti, Shri Shiv Agrawal, Shri Anand, Smt. Ritu Bhatia, and members of the organizing committee including Mr. Arun, Mr. Gaurav, Ms. Lavanya, Mr. Rohit Kumar, Ms. Archana, and Ms. Samidha Chaudhary.

The entire event was conducted under the leadership and guidance of Shri Piyush Sharma (President), Shri (Dr.) Virendra Nath Garg (General Secretary), and Vibhu Shrotriya (Secretary).

While concluding, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants, speakers, and contributors, stating that such events play a vital role in promoting morality, social unity, and a strong sense of national pride in society.
