GOLF LINKS DACOITY CASE SOLVED
THREE ACCUSED ARRESTED BY PS TUGHLAK ROAD
SWIFT ACTION • SHARP INVESTIGATION • MULTI-STATE RAIDS
In an important breakthrough, the team of PS Tughlak Road has successfully solved a dacoity case and apprehended three key accused persons involved in the crime.
INCIDENT
NEW DELHI- On 17.04.2026 at about 08:30 PM, a PCR call was received at PS Tughlak Road regarding a dacoity in the Golf Course area.
The complainant stated that their domestic help, namely Sushil, who had been employed merely 4–5 days earlier, deliberately opened the main gate of the residence and facilitated the entry of 5-6 accomplices.
The accused persons entered the house threatened the victims and looted jewellery and valuables, including some cash.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections was registered at PS Tughlak Road and investigation was taken up immediately.
INVESTIGATION
Considering the gravity and sensitivity of the offence, multiple police teams of PS Tughlak Road, PS Cyber and Special Staff/New Delhi District were constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Santan Singh Rawat, ACP/Tughlak Road and overall monitoring of senior officers.
The investigation involved:
* Detailed scrutiny of CCTV footage from the spot and adjoining routes
* Technical surveillance and data analysis
* Identification of the vehicle used in the crime
* Multi-state raids and field verification
During analysis of CCTV footage, the accused persons were seen fleeing in a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga taxi. The route and movement of the suspects were traced through technical surveillance.
APPREHENSION OF ACCUSED
Based on technical investigation a police team comprising SI Narender, ASI Dhaniram and HC Naresh conducted raids in Mumbai and apprehended two masterminds of the crime:
* Guddu Kumar Kamat @ Raju and Raman Kamat on 19.04.2026.
Simultaneously, another team comprising SI Mahesh Meena, HC Makkhan and Ct. Surender conducted a raid in Uttar Pradesh and apprehended:
* Amit Singh @ Gabbar on 19.04.2026.
All three accused have been arrested and further interrogation is in progress.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS
1.Guddu Kumar Kamat @ Raju (35 Years)
Resident of Bihar.
He is a habitual offender and has previously been involved in 07 cases of robbery and dacoity. He had earlier worked as a domestic servant at various places and used this background to identify vulnerable targets.
2.Raman Kamat (38 Years)
Resident of Bihar.
He is also involved in similar criminal activities and had been employed at the victim’s house merely three days before the incident.
3.Amit Singh @ Gabbar (30 Years)
Resident of Sangam Vihar, Delhi.
He is a notorious auto-lifter and is found involved in 19 criminal cases. He was specifically roped in by the gang for providing logistical support.
Sincere efforts are being made to arrest other accused persons. Further investigation in the case is in progress.
