Priyanka Saini Corruption Case: Delhi Police involved in taking bribe You must have seen and heard many times about some male police officers being arrested, but today you will be surprised to hear the story of bribery with which we are going to introduce you. Now Priyanka Saini, a lady officer of Delhi Police, has been accused.
In an FIR, a fish vendor and a resident of Sunder Nagri stated that one of his relatives was involved in a harassment case lodged at the police station. Sub Inspector Priyanka Saini, Sub-Inspector Sunil Dutt, Head Constable Anil Kumar along with another policeman asked him to hand over Rs 2 lakh to Saini to get the name of the accused removed.
The complainant further statedhe was asked to “settle” the matter and the SHO demanded Rs 2 lakh. He even withdrew money and paid to Saini after which she promised him to send an agreement signed with the opposing party in the case.
The Delhi police has also begun an internal enquiry against the four personnel after suspending them.
