INTER-STATE NARCO SYNDICATE BUSTED BY INTER-STATE CELL, CRIME BRANCH
HIGH-VALUE SEIZURE: Over 1 KG HEROIN WORTH ₹2 CRORE RECOVERED
THREE ACCUSED DRUG TRAFFICKERS WITH CRIMINAL HISTORY ARRESTED
Delhi – In a major success, the Inter-State Cell of the Delhi Police Crime Branch has successfully dismantled a significant inter-state narco-syndicate involved in the manufacture and supply of heroin (smack). The crackdown led to the recovery of over 1 Kg of Heroin and arrest of three key operatives.
OPERATION HIGHLIGHTS: –
Syndicate Neutralized:
A well-organized narco-network operating across Bareilly, Shamli, Saharanpur (UP), and to Delhi-NCR was uncovered and dismantled.
Substantial Seizures:
• More than 1 Kg of High-quality Heroin, valued at approx. ₹2 crores
INCIDENT DETAILS
On 22.02.2026, credible intelligence indicated that a known drug trafficker/Peddler, Faeem Beg, was to deliver a large consignment near Anand Vihar Railway Underpass, Delhi.
This operation followed sustained intelligence efforts led by Insp. Manmeet Malik, with initial leads developed by HC Sonu Tomar, and technical support by SI Vikas Solanki and SI Naresh Kumar.
A dedicated team comprising SI Vikas Solanki, ASI Krishan Pal, and HCs Ashish, Rajesh and Sachin, under the supervision of Sh. Ramesh Chander, ACP/ISC, executed the arrest and seizure.
A raid was conducted. Accused Faeem Beg and Kayum Khan were apprehended near Anand Vihar Railway Underpass, Delhi, and the following were recovered:
• Two packets of Heroin containing 101 and 601 grams respectively.
Accordingly, a case was registered vide FIR No. 33/26 dated 23.02.2026 u/s 21/29 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch.
FOLLOW-UP INVESTIGATION AND THIRD ARREST
During sustained interrogation, accused Faeem Beg disclosed that he was procuring heroin from associates in his native village Padera, District Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) and supplying it to Delhi/NCR, Shamli, and Saharanpur.
Acting upon this information, the Crime Branch team conducted further raids and on 27.02.2026, apprehended the supplier Amir Khan from Fatehganj East, Bareilly (UP).
At the instance of the accused, an additional 301 grams of heroin was recovered from his family farmland.
Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend other members of the syndicate and the main source of supply.

* Total recovery of Heroin:- 1.002 Kgs
* Estimated Value: Approx. ₹2 Crore in the international market
PROFILE OF ACCUSED
1. Faeem Beg (29 years)
o Resident: Izzat Nagar, Bareilly, UP
o Education: Illiterate
o Initially supplied heroin/Smack in Shamli, Saharanpur UP and Delhi/NCR.
2. Kayum Khan (33 years)
o Resident: Faridpur, Bareilly, UP
o He purchases the Heroin from Faeem Beg in bulk quantity and sells it in Seemapuri cluster area.
3. Amir Khan (28 years)
o Resident: Padera Fateh Ganj East, Bareilly, UP
o Education: 6th Class
o Initially collects heroin/Smack from his sources and delivers it in Shamil, Saharanpur UP and Delhi/NCR through his couriers.
o Accused is previously involved in three cases of Narcotics substances.
o He is the key associate of entire syndicate.
