Two proclaimed offenders/absconders arrested in separate cases by vigilant teams of West District.
One P.O. arrested by staff of PP Tilak Vihar, PS Tilak Nagar, in an Arms Act case.
One absconder/BC arrested by staff of PS Naraina in an Arms Act case.
Both accused had been declared absconders/proclaimed offenders by the respective Hon’ble Courts.
INCIDENT, INFORMATION & TEAM
As per the directions of senior officers to trace and apprehend proclaimed offenders, absconders and wanted criminals, dedicated teams of West District have been making continuous efforts through manual intelligence, surveillance and verification of police and court records. Acting on specific information, the teams of PP Tilak Vihar, PS Tilak Nagar and PS Naraina successfully apprehended two such offenders in separate cases.
CASE 1: PP TILAK VIHAR, PS TILAK NAGAR
A dedicated team of PP Tilak Vihar, PS Tilak Nagar, acting on secret information, apprehended accused Gurmeet Singh R/o Tilak Vihar, Delhi, aged 32 years.
Upon verification, he was found wanted in FIR No. 429/2018 U/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Tilak Nagar. He had been declared a Proclaimed Offender by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Vikash Madan, Ld. JMFC-07, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi, vide order dated 01.08.2026.
The accused was accordingly arrested after completion of necessary legal formalities.
Case-2: PS NARAINA
A dedicated team of PS Naraina comprising HC Bhupesh Kumar, HC Sunil and HC Ramesh, under the supervision of Insp. Dharmendra Kumar, SHO/PS Naraina and Sh. Inder Raj Singh, ACP/Sub-Division Maya Puri, developed manual intelligence regarding the whereabouts of an absconder.
On 25.08.2026, acting upon secret information, the team conducted a raid in the area of Sangam Vihar, Delhi and apprehended Deepak @ Narender @ Kuldeep Aged 46 years.
On verification, he was found wanted in FIR No. 127/2017 U/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Naraina. He had been declared an absconder by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Tushar Gupta, Ld. JMFC-08, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, vide order dated 25.01.2023.
The accused was arrested after completion of necessary legal formalities.
DETAILS OF ACCUSED
Gurmeet Singh R/o Tilak Vihar, Delhi, Age 32 Years.
Deepak @ Narender @ Kuldeep R/o Sangam Vihar, Delhi, Age 46 Years.
He was found involved in multiple criminal cases, including cases registered under sections of murder, attempt to murder, robbery, theft, house trespass and Arms Act at various police stations of Delhi.
