Details of PCR call regarding decomposed dead body:- PS Malviya Nagar
On 08/12/2023 at around 1930 hrs, a PCR call was received at PS Malviya Nagar.

Caller —- BOL RHA HAI KI mere ADDRESS PAR J-4/21A, Khirki Extension, Malviya Nagar LADKI RENT PAR REHTI HAI 10-15 DIN SE WO DIKHAI NHI DE RHI THI TO HUME LGA KHI GAYI HOGI LAKIN ABHI JIS MAKAN MAI WO REHTI HAI USSE BADBU AA RHI HAI GATE BHI ANDER SE BANDH HAI”.
On receiving the PCR call, police staff reached at the spot where the caller r/o R-14, Khirki Extension, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi who is the owner of J-4/21A, Khirki Extension, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi was found. He told that he had given 1st floor of the building on rent to a lady Saniya Rai r/o 154A, Sant Nagar, East of Kailash, New Delhi (address as per Aadhar Card) age 30 years . She had been living at the above mentioned flat since July, 2022. On checking the flat was found locked from inside. In the presence of owner and neighbours, the doors of the flat was opened and inside the flat the dead body of the lady Saniya Rai was found lying on the floor and the body was in decomposed state. No external injury can be seen as the body was heavily decomposed. The spot was inspected by crime team. The body was sent to AIIMS mortuary for preservation. The proceedings u/s 174 CrPC is initiated.
Further investigation is underway.
