Brief description of Accused robbers caught and arrested by PS Shaheen bagh 

The team of PS Shaheen Bagh of South-East District has arrested three robbers namely Sonu Kumar, Jai Kumar and Vikas Kumar, PS Shaheen bagh officials arrested and recovered cash  Rs 22000/-, one motorcycle, toy gun used in the commission of offence and clothes worn by the accused at the time of incidence have been recovered from their possession.

How team of “Dil ki police” Delhi Police arrested Robbers 

Delhi | On dated  23.06.24 at 02:51 PM, a PCR call was received at PS Shaheen Bagh, New Delhi regarding robbery at gun point which was marked to SI Akshay for further necessary action. Thereafter, the Staff rushed to the spot i.e. in Shaheen Bagh, where the complainant Sonu Kumar S/o Bharat Singh R/o Madanpur Khadar Extn., Delhi Age 24 years met the IO. During examination, the complainant stated that he works as a delivery boy in E-Kart company. On 23.06.2024 at around 02:30 PM, when he was enroute to deliver a product at Shaheen Bagh and stopped in Shaheen Bagh, suddenly two unknown persons came on a motorcycle, showed him a pistol and robbed Rs. 77,000/- (that he had received in lieu of delivering parcels on that day) Accordingly, a casevide FIR No 176/2024 u/s 392/34 IPC was registered at PS Shaheen Bagh and the investigation of the case was taken up.

How Station house officer along with team of Ps Shaheen bagh investigated the case

Sensing the gravity of the offence, a dedicated team comprising SI Akshay, HC Rajneesh, Ct. Abhay and Ct. Amit led by Insp Dinesh Kumar, SHO/ Shaheen Bagh, under the supervision of ACP /NFC was formed to nab the culprits. The team immediately swung into action and analyzed severalCCTV footages. With the help of CCTV footages obtained from the route of entry and exit of accused persons, the registration number of the vehicle used in offence was identified. The ownership details of this vehicle were obtained with revealed that the Motorcycle was registered in the name of one Jai Kumar S/o Bharat Singh R/o Opp. Balram Dawar, Karera Village, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh Age 26 years. During the course of investigation, the father’s name and the address of the complainant and as well as above Jai Kumar were found same. After receiving this information, complainant was thoroughly examined and during examination, He disclosed that Jai Kumar is his elder brother and hehimself planned the said robbery with his brother Jai Kumar and cousin Vikas Kumar S/o Divan Chand R/o Opp. Balram Dawar, Karera Village, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Age 19 years. On this, a team was sent to their respective location sand accused Jai Kumar and Vikas Kumar were nabbed. Further, at the instance of accused persons Jai Kumar and Vikas, a toy gun and a motorcycle used in the commission of crime, clothes worn by them on the date of the incident and the robbed money have been recovered.

Deep Investigation done by DelhiPolice officials 

On sustained interrogation, it was revealed that complainant/accused Sonu Kumar works with E-kart online delivery App. He had taken Rs. 50,000/- from one of his friends to purchase a motorcycle and he had to return that money. In order to return this money, he planned the said robbery along with his brother Jai Kumar and his friend Vikas. He further stated that on the date of incident, complainant/accused Sonu called his brother Jai Kumar and informed him that he had some money and instructed him to come at the place of incident with a toy gun. Thereafter, the another accused Jai Kumar and Vikas came at the place of incident on a motorcycle and actedaccordingly asinstructed by Sonu. Accused Sonu further disclosed that the remaining amount (55,000/-) was transferred by the him to another person to pay his debt.

Delhi police recovered 

1. Motorcycle and Helmet used in commission of offence
2. Rs, 22,000/- cash
3. Clothes worn by the accused at the time of incident.
