The Foundation for Research and Social Development (F.R.S.D.), a non-profit organization registered on 20th September 1992 under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, proudly celebrates 34 years of committed service towards the welfare and upliftment of society. Since its inception, FRSD has continuously worked for the betterment of underprivileged communities with a strong focus on women empowerment, skill development, and social welfare initiatives.
Over the years, FRSD has successfully organized more than 500 Training and Skill Development Programs, empowering over 4000 women belonging to the poorest and weakest sections of society. Through these initiatives, the organization has provided women with opportunities for self-employment, helping them improve their social and economic status and become financially independent.
FRSD has also worked in collaboration with several Ministries and Government Departments, successfully implementing and completing numerous social development projects aimed at community welfare, education, empowerment, and sustainable development.
On the auspicious occasion of Mother’s Day, FRSD is organizing a special programme dedicated to honoring the strength, sacrifices, and invaluable contributions of women and mothers in society. The event will bring together women from different walks of life and will include motivational talks, cultural activities, recognition ceremonies, awareness sessions on women empowerment, health and wellness guidance, and interactive discussions focused on self-reliance and personal growth.
The programme aims to celebrate motherhood while also encouraging women to continue striving towards confidence, independence, and leadership in society. FRSD believes that empowering women is the foundation of a stronger and more progressive nation.
