Innocent Woman Shilpa Verma Trapped in a Racket of Social Cause
Shilpa Verma aggrieved by a hoax NGO of animal rescuers
Delhi| Shilpa Verma, age about 34 years, meets a woman named Renu. Renu used to run an NGO named Animal Lover through WhatsApp group. Shilpa does animal recuse work and was introduced to Renu and started to work for the NGO as a volunteer. Renu added Shilpa Verma on10 April 2024 to her group in which about 1018 people were connected. Shilpa Verma says that I joined this group because animals were being served and helped and that is a noble cause.
Shilpa’s Work and NGO
After she joined the group, Shilpa also used to go with Renu to protest against animal torture and abuse. In this manner, Shilpa’s association with Renu started increasing. But later Renu started using her UPI account in the name of serving animals. She even bought movies tickets once worth three thousand rupees with the funds. When funds would come to her account from people, she used to say – “Money must have come to your account, transfer it to me.” She used to transfer to Renu, and she began sharing her QR code in groups and in other money transactions and it was becoming difficult to stop her. But when Renu started spending the funds on herself instead of spending it on animals, she understood that she that what she was not doing was not right. She left Renu and the NGO and parted ways!
The Conspiracy and Money-Making Racket
As a result, Rohit, Mehak and Kajal who are also members of the NGO started pressuring her to join the group and told Shilpa, you should come back to the group. When she did not listen to them, she was threatened by Renu, Kajal, Mehak and Rohit. As part of a conspiracy, her MOBILE number was on a porn website. Thye ganged up and started crossing all limits to harass her. She was abused, threatened and defamed on social media. A personal video was put on social media by Renu. Slowly, she started getting objectionable calls and her mental harassment reached peaks.
Shilpa takes help from the Police
Shilpa lodged a complaint against Renu, Rohit and Kajal in the nearest police station on 9 October 2024. But no action has been taken on the complaint till date. During this time, to scare her, all these people made Mrs. Maneka Gandhi call me to take back this complaint from the police station and stop defaming these animal lovers. Otherwise, they will file a case of defamation against her. All these threats were given to me by Maneka Gandhi. After that, Surabhi Rawat, a member of People for Animals, PFA from Ghaziabad also threatened her and sent a threatening message which is in her possession It has been almost four months, and no action was taken by the police station. On 21 January 2025, I myself reached the District Deputy Commissioner of Police, District East Delhi with a complaint. And provide the entire incident in detail and all the evidence related to the incident along with the video to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, East Delhi.
Shilpa is in Depression and NGO turns Vindictive and Political
She has fallen into depression in the last few months as she faces sexual and mental harassment. This situation needs immediate police intervention and registering of FIR.A great concern emerges when good work by innocent souls like Shilpa by misfortune lead her to exploitation, harassment and abuse. She has the right to not be used and targeted by this NGO and no amount of political intervention can take away the pain and problems she has faced with NGO animal lovers.
