Animal activist Bhumika Gupta threatened after registering FIR

Kundli| Bhumika Gupta has filed a complaint against the accused Mr. Manoj Khatri, Mr. Mayank Khatri, Mr. Pradeep Tushir, and Mr. Rajesh Maan for violent, criminal, and indecent actions against her and the family on 11th February 2025 at 9:45 p.m. during a function held in the society premises.

When News India 9 correspondent spoke to Bhumika Gupta, the animal activist of Max Height Society informed that 5 dogs have been poisoned and three were sent to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and one has died.

Bhumika Gupta’s son Shubh was in the basement feeding the community dogs, Manoj Khatri and Mayank Khatri approached him and issued serious threats, saying: ‘Tell your parents to withdraw the FIR, or I will ensure they are wiped out completely that they won’t even realize they ever existed’.

A FIR has been registered before as well against the accused for assault. Out of fear for his safety Shubam called his mother. His parents rushed to the location and found that both Manoj and Mayank had physically assaulted her son, punching him on his mouth, head and knees and continued to do so even on the arrival of the police.

Due to this violence and intimidation, a huge hullabaloo ensued in the marriage function at the society premises. During the chaos, Bhumika was molested by the accused . Bhumika and her family were openly threatened by the accused, while they were leaving for the police station, saying that if they filed anymore complaints, the situation will escalate to an extreme level, and she and her family will face severe consequences. It is crucial to highlight that Manoj Khatri is already out on bail as per the charge sheet filed in October 2024, and his actions clearly violate the bail conditions.

Station house officer of Rai police station of kundli said that they are Investigating the case and the accused will charge as per law after investigation.
